The Wines
Clear. Structured. Made to Be Understood.
If Bordeaux has ever felt complicated, you’re not imagining it.
Over time, it’s accumulated layers — classifications, sub-regions, terminology — that can make choosing a bottle feel heavier than it needs to be.
We believe it can be simpler than that.
Our wines begin with three foundations:
Place.
Grape.
Balance.

Place Comes First
Our vineyard slopes gently toward the Gironde River, with exposure and soil that allow fruit to ripen steadily and evenly.
We don’t irrigate — Bordeaux regulations don’t allow it — so each vintage unfolds on its own terms. That means the vineyard must be planted thoughtfully and farmed with care.
Terroir isn’t a romantic idea to us.
It’s the starting point.
The soil, light, drainage, and climate shape what’s possible long before blending begins.

Grape Variety Has a Role
We work primarily with:
✔️Merlot – generosity and texture
✔️Cabernet Franc – freshness and lift
✔️Petit Verdot – structure and depth
Each variety contributes something distinct.
We don’t add grapes for complexity’s sake.
We use them with intent.
From the beginning, we aimed to borrow inspiration — a little of Pomerol’s softness, a little of Margaux’s elegance — while remaining true to our site.
Blending gives us flexibility in a region where irrigation is not permitted and seasons vary naturally. In some years, one variety may stand confidently on its own. In others, balance comes through thoughtful combinations.
Consistency, for us, isn’t uniform flavour.
It’s a consistent standard of character.
Balance Is Deliberate
Every decision is made with drinking in mind.
Not how impressive the wine sounds.
Not how many descriptors it can carry.
But how it feels at your table.
Does it settle?
Does it open comfortably?
Does it invite another glass without fatigue?
We want structure without heaviness.
Expression without noise.
Clarity without oversimplifying.
That’s where our thinking becomes contemporary — not in rejecting Bordeaux tradition, but in using it deliberately.

Organic by Practice, Not Performance
We farm organically because it aligns with our long-term view of the land.
It’s slower and more demanding, but it supports soil health and vine balance — which ultimately supports quality.
